This six (6) day certification / recertification course for End-fire Glide Slope Antenna Systems leads to our manufacturer’s certification of the individual for installation, optimization and training required to maintain the factory warranty on our products. Recertification is required for individuals who received their factory certification prior to the year 2015.

Instructor: Company President, John H. Johnson, Sr., will lead the course.
Objectives: This course is designed to provide each attendee with a high level of proficiency in the end-fire systems, using Watts’ facilities and equipment for hands-on experience with major system sub-assemblies and to cover the following key areas of interest:
- System familiarization (antennas and interface unit)/general requirements and specifications
- Theory of operation; standards and tolerances; periodic/corrective maintenance procedures
- Special configurations to accommodate complex installation constraints and siting issues
- Site evaluations – modeling and temporary installations
- Installation, integration and checkout; troubleshooting; system optimization; antenna
optimization; and flight inspection.
Materials: Each participant will receive both a Model 105 and a Model 106 End Fire Glide Slope Antenna Instruction Book.
